Resting on the pristine beaches of Naples lies a hidden gem of a hotel, The Edgewater. With any beach destination comes many hotels, rentals, condos, you name it. I can almost guarantee that none can compare to The Edgewater Beach Hotel. The hotel is part of OPAL collection, a member of luxury hotels and resorts. You’ll find all things luxury and comfort here- that is for sure!
From the spacious and comfortable all suite rooms, to the incredible dining and hospitality, the Edgewater offers something a little bit different.
From the moment you arrive and sip on that complimentary champagne and are escorted to your room, you’ll be surprised when you enter a perfect place to call home for the duration of your stay. The rooms at Edgewater are perfect for families of all sizes, or if there’s just a few of you and you’re looking to getaway. The hotel offers 1, 2, and 3 bedroom suites all complete with the same amount of bathrooms to bedrooms. It hosts a spacious and functional kitchen and a living room as well. If I were you, I’d go for the ocean front! You can’t beat that balcony view at sunset! Check out the room options here.
At Edgewater, there honestly isn’t a reason to even leave the hotel much if you don’t want to. The food and dining options at The Edgewater blew me away! Whether it’s ordering in suite dining for breakfast (banana pancakes in bed?!), dinner at the wonderful Coast Restaurant (MUST order the shrimp and lobster ravioli)! or enjoying a cocktail out by the pool, with every bite the food and service grew better and better!
A special touch was the brunch picnic basket! The yummiest food and very photo worthy!Ā
Coast is open to the public, not just for hotel guests! If you’re in the Naples area and want a great view of the sunset too, check out the menu here.
One of the best characteristics of the hotel are the activities that are available to you. From bike rentals (must go check out the homes in the area by bike), to paddle boarding or kayaking, lounging in a beach cabana, enjoying the two heated pools, or taking the trolley to 5th ave, there is so much to do!
Ever heard of “blue zone living?” I didn’t until my weekend at Edgewater! To live in a blue zone area means to have low rates of chronic disease and people living longer. This is because some of the characteristics in blue zone living include: a better nights sleep, exercise, calorie balance, and plant based diets. Fun fact: Naples is the only city east of the Mississippi that is blue zone approved!
If I haven’t already convinced you to go book a weekend at Edgewater, the sunset can convince you herself š No better view of the sunset than on the west coast of Florida in my opinion!
If you’re craving a weekend filled with beaches, sunsets, gourmet food, and a cozy sleep- book your weekend at The Edgewater now! š
