Jannata Resort: Luxury In Ubud

Out of all the “Insta famous” spots on social media these days, Ubud has to be at least in the top 10- and for good reason. Ubud is everything from a secluded lush jungle to a busy food capital. From markets to spas, rice terraces to infinity pools, it truly has something for everyone.

One of the major draws to Ubud is the incredible hotel and villa scene. There are PLENTY of options to choose from when it comes to Ubud accommodations, but none that beat the total package at Jannata Resort.

Jannata sits on an epic view of the jungle with each room hosting a sunrise party on your personal balcony every morning! Upon arrival, each guest is greeted with a free welcome drink, massage, and tour. Included in your stay is daily yoga classes, terrace trekking, a yummy breakfast, and 1 floating breakfast in the pool for 2 people. The floating breakfast is just as great as Instagram makes it look! From cereal, eggs, bacon, fruits, juices, tea, croissants and more, you are given a luxury breakfast experience with an incredible view!

I loved the floating breakfast experience because of how private it surprisingly was. You aren’t in the pool with 10 other people sharing breakfast. When using your floating breakfast voucher, you pick a time slot the day before. We only had 1 other couple sharing the pool with us during breakfast!

The Spa at Jannata Resort

My version of going to the Spa is buying a groupon for it and getting 1 massage and maybe a glass of champagne. Bali does the whole spa thing better, much better.

The spa at Jannata was fantastic and one of my favorite experiences there! There are many packages to choose from and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Flower baths, massages, body scrubs, facials, everything was very well done and the flower baths are very impressive!

I chose the “The Jannata Signature” package and that included basically one of everything: a flower bath, a massage, a facial, and a body scrub. Outside guests can utilize the hotel’s spa services and I highly recommend that you do! The service was excellent and you will definitely be treated like royalty.

The location of Jannata was the perfect spot as it was only a few miles from Tegalalang rice terrace and Ubud City Center. Though you can rent a scooter for the day from the hotel, you can also take the free shuttle to and from the city center daily. There are plenty of restaurants, markets, temples, and waterfalls all within a short distance from Jannata.

When it comes down to hotels, comfortability has to be a priority. After a long day of exploring around Bali, you’ll want to come back to a clean room and rest your head on a comfy bed! Jannata does this very well. From the robes, to the decor, the balcony, the bath tub and all the room amenities, the rooms are both luxurious and practical!

Depending on the type of traveler you are, you may like to go out and explore and not spend much time at the hotel or room. You may like to spend a day or two doing nothing but relaxing by your hotel pool! Whichever type of travel days you prefer, I highly recommend enjoying Jannata to it’s fullest. Our most relaxing day in Bali was spent at Jannata and it went like this:

  • Floating breakfast
  • Yoga
  • 3.5 hour spa package
  • Pool day with pina colada
  • Dinner at Jannata’s restaurant (it was delicious!)

Wherever your travels take you in Bali, I assure you to look no further than Jannata! You can check out their rates and packages here.
